The social side of the club

The clubhouse is the social center of the Sailing Club, where many a yarn is spun of our activities on the water.

As well as the social calendar at the bottom of this page, there are many other social functions which are usually advertised a week or two before hand, which are mainly in the winter months. Watch the notice board for information.

Winter talks are given by invited guest speakers on various subjects associated with sailing. The format is generally a formal talk with slides, usually followed by a question and answer session at the end. Talks by Sail Makers are fascinating for obvious reasons!   

This is perhaps one of the most important places in the club.
